Community Outreach
Community outreach includes the men’s prayer breakfast and the Girl Scouts. Further, members volunteer at the Stewpot and the Natchez Children’s Home and help support the Food Pantry. See "Food and Fellowship", "Music Ministry", or contact the Church Office for more information.

Natchez in Historic Photographs
Located in the Stratton Chapel Gallery at 405 State Street behind the Federal style First Presbyterian Church downtown and across from City Hall is an outstanding collection of photographs taken from as early as 1840 and offering a grand depiction of life in Natchez over the course of its early history. The collection boasts over 500 photographs of steamboat activities along the river, the families and homes of Natchez, and downtown Natchez as it once looked in the days of old. The collection for viewing is made possible through the generosity of the late Dr. Thomas Gandy and his wife Joan who spent many years restoring the photographic works of Henry and Earl Norman. A $5 donation is requested. Contact the Church Office for more information.

Mission Outreach
First Presbyterian Church members are involved in the "Living Waters for the World" program. Living Waters is a synod of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Its headquarters are in Brentwood, TN. After Hurricane Katrina, some units were installed on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. First Presbyterian Church of Natchez usually volunteer at the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico or in the northeast part of Brazil. For more information about the program, go to http://www.synodoflivingwaters.org/ where the description of the program is as follows: "trains and equips mission teams to share the gift of clean, sustainable water with communities in need." First Presbyterian of Natchez travels to Mexico for this mission trip. Contact the Church Office for more information.
